Janardana (जनार्दन) is another name of Lord Vishnu and appears as the 126th name in the Vishnu Sahasranama. It is also a common name of Krishna being addressed as such by Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita. Also, the Janardana means "One who inflicts suffering on evil men." Alternatively, it means, "He to whom all devotees pray for worldly success and liberation". Janardana Swami is a form of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that the 'Devas' constructed a temple of Lord Vishnu and were worshiping the Lord Janardhana.
One who gives sorrow and disaster to the vicious, and who blesses with joy and peace to the good people are called ‘Janardanah’. Janardhan Shaligrama is very exotic, powerful, very attractive, brilliant, auspicious, emits very high radiance and has an extraordinarily high energy level.
