Venkateswara Shaligram

Venkateswara (वेङ्कटेश्वर), also known as Srinivasa, Balaji, Venkata, Venkata Ramana, Tirupati Timmappa, Venkatachalapati, and Govinda, is a form of the Hindu god Maha-Vishnu. Venkateswara is the presiding god of Tirumala Venkateswara Temple located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh in India. The word "Venkata" means Venkata-the name of a hill in Andhra Pradesh and Isvara-"Lord". Venkata means "destroyer of sins", deriving from words Vem (sins) and kata (power of immunity).

Venkateshwara Shila is a very rare, auspicious, powerful and exotic looking Shaligrama Shila. The Srinivas had taken a loan to get married to Padmavati. He has borrowed a very big sum from Kuber. Lord Venkateshwara or Balaji is one of the most famous deities in modern-day Hinduism. This Shila is extremely rare.
