Dwarka is an ancient city in the Indian state of Gujarat. It’s known as a Hindu pilgrimage site. It is one of the holiest places in India. Dwarka is often identified with the Dwarka Kingdom, the kingdom of Krishna, and is believed to have been the first capital of Gujarat.
The Dwarka Shilas found near the sea at Dwarka .Chakra Teertha is the place were the Gomati river meets the sea. It is said that Lord Vishnu present here in the form of Dwarka Shila. Dwarka or Dvaraka is derived from 'Dwar' (door) and 'Ka' ( 'Brahma') meaning gateway to Moksha (salvation). It is also called Dwarkamati and Dwarkavati or Dvaravati. The Nageswar Jyotirlinga near Dwarka is made of a large Dwaraka Sila. This Auspicious Shilas are very rare.
